TRAINING

• The Dachshund will be easier for first time owners
• Owners will need patience to train a Terrier
• The Terrier might need to go to obedience school

SHEDDING

• The Terrier sheds more hair
• Shedding is a normal process to naturally lose old or damaged hair
• Some owners might not find it desirable to find dog hair in their car & home

MAINTENACE

• The Terrier is easy to maintain
• The Terrier needs less grooming

WATCHDOG ABILITY

• Both the Dachshund & Terrier are great watchdogs
• These dogs will bark & alert when an intruder is present

EXERCISE NEEDS

• The Jack Russell Terrier will require more exercise
• Therefore, owners who are home regularly and enjoy exercise will have a wonderful companion by their side during their fitness center activities

ADAPTABILITY
The Dachshund has better adaptability. It can better respond and alter itself to its environment.

FOR KIDS
The Jack Russell Terrier is better for kids. It can grow up with them and become a great family pet.

NEW OWNERS
The Dachshund is better suited for new owners.
