In Taiwan we are accordance lunar new year on January 1, in America is January 28.

TRADITIONS
In Taiwan we always invited all my family to celebrate New Year, we will prepare a lot of Chinese food to eat, the adults are playing Mahjong, the children were playing board game. The kids will get red pocket.
A lot of people will buy new clothes for Chinese New Year. When the last day of this year we will countdown and have the firecracker, the new year was coming!

EVERY YEAR WE WILL PREPARE A LOT OF CHINESE FOOD, LIKE: DUMPLINGS,FISH,CHICKEN ETC., TO CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR COMING.
