The author's purpose is to make the reader want to read more and more. The author made a questionable events at the end of every chapter thAt makes you want to read more and find out what will happen next.

In your own words


This novel/book 'Bang' is about a child that had died and everyone is trying to find ways to forget about it. He starts to skip school, get in fights, ect. Kee-Lee (Mann's friend) was found dead, and that was even harder on Mann.

Setting and Action


The setting of the story is a bad neighborhood. Most events happen during the day. It is important because the things that go on in the book can't happen in another period of the day. Like Mann going to school, can't happen during the night.
