SOCCER

THE SPANISH NATIONAL TEAM MADE THE WORLD CUP IN 2018

HOW TO PLAY SOCCER

  • The object is to kick the ball in the goal
  • You can’t touch the ball with your hands
  • There is a goalie that try’s to block the ball from going into the goal
  • There is 90 minutes in a soccer game
  • Soccer is a sport

BASKETBALL

THERE IS A SPANISH BASKETBALL TEAM.

HOW TO PLAY BASKETBALL

  • The object is to throw the ball in the hoop
  • You can only take two steps without dribbling
  • You can not stop dribbling and start dribbling again
  • You can not touch a person while they are shooting
  • There are 5 players on the court at a time for each team

RUGBY

THIS IS ANOTHER SPORT PLAYED BY THE SPANISH

HOW TO PLAY RUGBY

  • There are two teams of 15 active players
  • The object is to get the ball inside the in-goal area or to kick the ball through the uprights at the end of the field
  • There is no forward passing you can only pass it backwards or laterally
  • There are penalties in rugby if you are to violent or break other rules

TENNIS IS ANOTHER SPORT PLAYED IN

SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES.

HOW TO PLAY TENNIS

  • The object is to hit the ball over the net to the other side of the court
  • To score the ball has to bounce twice in your opponent’s side of the court
  • On average a tennis match would last three and a half hours
  • A match is spit into two to three sets. To win a set you have to win six games
  • The scoring in tennis starts at love or zero, then it goes to 15, then it goes to 30, then 40 , and finally game point which wins the game

SQUASH

A BALL SPORT PLAYED BY TWO OR FOUR PLAYERS ON A FOUR-WALLED COURT

HOW TO PLAY SQUASH

  • Players alternate striking the ball with their rackets
  • Can be played indoor or outdoors with a glass court
  • First player to nine points
  • You score if you hit the ball and your opponent misses
  • There is no net
