In the beginning the Sky and His son Kronos had an epic battle. In the midst of the battle Kronos severed his fathers parts tossing them them into the sea
Birth
After the battle, The Sky's parts turned to foam. From this foam a beautiful woman was born. Her name was Aphrodite. She was said to be the epitomy of beauty.
Relativity
In Greek mythology Aphrodite is the goddess of love and beauty. She is known for her affairs with many gods. Her role in mythology is to oversee all love and beauty in the world
The painting
In this painting we see Aphrodite emerging from the sea. the nudity in this photo was something unheard of in this time. The only nudity in art at this time was in religious paintings. The nudity in this painting was to show her sheer beauty
