WHY DO WE HAVE AN OZONE LAYER?

The ozone layer is important because it stops too many of the sun's 'ultra-violet rays from getting to earth.


WHAT CAUSES THE OZONE HOLE?
Gases can cause the ozone hole to form. These gases are called CFCs, Chloro-Fluoro-Carbons.



What is Ozone?

Ozone is a natural gas composed of three atoms of oxygen.The ozone is a high thin layer in the sky that keeps out some sunlight from the earth. This is a wonderful thing to have because it reduces skin cancer and burning of the skin.
