Facts about owls
- Most owls are nocturnal (they hunt at night).
- Owls are raptors. They have sharp beaks and claws.
- Owls eyes allow them to see and hunt at night.
- Owls have excellent hearing.
- Owls wings are nearly silent.

Owls regurgitate the fur, bones, and teeth of their prey. The regurgitated matter comes out in a "pellet" form. These are called owl pellets.
