R is for rampage. When Johnny dies dally goes on a rampage and robs a store.

S is for soda-pop. In the story soda was the mom of the family he made sure pony boy was alright. He is good looking and uses his head.

T is for tough/tuff. In the story if someone was tough they were strong and big and scary, tuff would be a nice and sharp car.

U is for useless. When Johnny dies in the story dally feels useless so he wants to die.

V is for valor. When Johnny and pony boy went into the fire to save those kids. They were brave and known as heros.

W is for wail. When Darry went to visit pony boy in the hospital he wailed for a long time because he missed him.

X is for extreme. In the story the greasers go on extreme adventures and facing life risking events but the face them together.

Y is for young. In the story pony boy is the youngest in the gang, but he is very smart and loves sunsets.

Z is for zazzy. The greasers have their own way of dressing and they like it that way.
