I is for intelligent. In the story Darry is very intelligent but chooses not to go to school so he can stay with pony boy and soda.

J is for jumped. In the story pony boy and Johnny run away and get jumped by bob and randy at the park.

K is for kids. In the story Johnny and pony boy save some little kids from a burning church

L is for life. In the story Johnny looses his life to help children get out of a burning church.

M is for murder. In the story Johnny kills bob because he was drowning pony boy in the park fountain.

N is for news paper. In the story dally, pony boy, and Johnny get their names in the news paper for saving children from the fire.

O is for outsider. In the story pony boy and cherry feel like there outsiders because their different then everyone.

P is for pony boy. Pony boy is the youngest member of the greasers. His parents died when he was little but he has Darry and soda.

Q is for quit. In the story randy explains to pony boy that bob never new when to quit getting drunk and doing stupid stuff.
