  • Ally is my favorite horse and I have been riding her for 6 years
  • Last month she injured her leg
  • The veterinarian thought it was an infection, but its not going away
  • Ally is "green" and wasn't trained to jump at the level I aspire to compete on
  • She is 22 and needs to retire.

As A Rider

  • Riding is my passion.
  • It isn't just a phase
  • I have a natural talent for it
  • I plan to compete in college
  • I need a horse on my level
Shari considers me as her next superstar out at the barn. I'm capable of learning and progressing through riding levels quickly, and the horses that I have access to now, aren't capable of enabling me to reach my full potential as a competitive rider.

This is Ella

  • Raphaella is a Holsteiner out at Shari's
  • She is expertly trained in jumping and dressage
  • She is my DREAM horse
  • The owner is in desperate need of a home
  • Her price has dropped tremendously
Ella is worth $30,000+ but she has a condition similar to diabetes in humans where she can't have sugar. This is why she hasn't sold already. Now, the owner just had a baby and can't ride her anymore, so she is just trying to find a good home. Shari and mom think that we can get her for $10,000.

Nitty Gritty

  • Mom said she would pay entirely for Ella
  • Most of the costs would fall on her
  • However Shari would want us to keep
  • Ella at her place.
  • Mom can't afford to pay for Ella and board

Board at Shari's

  • Boarding at Shari's is beneficial as well as necessary
  • Because Ella is Insulin Resistant, she needs special care
  • It would be $375 a month for a regular pen
  • I know this is a lot, but this includes food and stall cleaning
  • Mom is going to pay all other expenses such as shoeing
Boarding at Shari's also helps me to become a better rider because she will pressure me to ride more often and she will educate me as an instructor. Shari also has an amazing facility and all the right resources.

Long Term

  • In order to continue horseback riding, I cleared my schedule this year
  • I plan on riding every day after school (as time permits)
  • Riding ties into my future career as a veterinarian
  • I can use Ella as my FFA project
  • I plan on taking her to college with me

A Passion

  • I will do ANYTHING to make this happen
  • This is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity
  • Ella and I together would be truly amazing
  • Take some time to consider this

I'm not being influenced by anyone else, this is entirely me and my own idea. Mom hasn't even seen this. If you want I can even work for you or something, but this won't happen without you. When you have the time call me :)
