- Behavior that is positively reinforced will reoccur
- Information should be presented in small amounts. This is called shaping.
- Reinforcements will generalize across similar stimuli, producing secondary conditioning.
4 possible consequences
- Positive reinforcement, behavior increases.
- Negative punishment, behavior decreases
- Positive punishment, behavior decreases.
- Negative reinforcement, behavior increses.
