  • Behavior that is positively reinforced will reoccur
  • Information should be presented in small amounts. This is called shaping.
  • Reinforcements will generalize across similar stimuli, producing secondary conditioning.

4 possible consequences

  • Positive reinforcement, behavior increases.
  • Negative punishment, behavior decreases
  • Positive punishment, behavior decreases.
  • Negative reinforcement, behavior increses.
