• It is very busy because people really want gold,and silver.

• Ghost towns are places were no one really lives.
• Ghost towns become that after it was a boomtown.
• Most of the time ghost towns had a lot of gold and silver and ran out.
• Also ghost towns have not a lot of shops and stores

WHY DO PEOPLE WANT GOLD AND SILVER

• Gold and silver were very popular.
• They were popular because people didnt make a lot of money.
• And people were very poor back then.
• So if people got gold or silver they would try to get items to survive.

LONG DRIVES FOR CATTLE

• Long drives were when ranchers had to drive their cattle many miles.
• It would be hard for the owners because it was so long.
• Most long drives started in spring so cattle could get food on the way.
• Ranchers had to follow several trails such as the chisholm trail.
