LONG DRIVES FOR CATTLE
Long drives were when ranchers had to drive their cattle many miles.
It would be hard for the owners because it was so long.
Most long drives started in spring so cattle could get food on the way.
Ranchers had to follow several trails such as the chisholm trail.
