- best advise - do not add one! - decision about your application is made in first 8 seconds of looking at your CV - if you do - make it look professional - had pictures of applicants taken in their own bedroom / selfies / in sunglasses / in swimming costume / in the disco?!?
- use sections - start with your most current role - take a use of formatting in word - its ok to use some colour and different than Ariel font - make it relevant - include your valid telephone number - do not out your date of birth - this might be your advantage but also big disadvantage - do not write essays - bullet points work best
go on the company website - read it find them on Facebook / Twitter - follow and like google the name of the interviewing panel - recognise the faces / know bit about their backgroud - LinkedIn is great but be vary that people can see who viewed their profile on there
be smart no jeans not only clothing - wash you hair / clean your nails / clean shaven is always a win no white socks no smoking breath - have a mint perfume ok but not too much
think before / research what questions can they ask/
for sure they will ask: why do you want ot leave your job? what attracted you to work for us? What are your strengths? what are your weaknesses / Development areas?
