Why was it created? The NYA was created to provide financial needs and trained children from the age of 16-25 to work. It also offered additional courses of writing, arithmetic and reading.
Who it benefited? The National Youth Administration benefited youths the age 16-25. It provided support and aid for youths during the Great Depression.
Nya Coming to a close It was a sad day when the National Youth Administration came to a close. It closed because people argued that the NYA was expensive and valueless, the NYA fell into a national critism. In September of 1943 the National Youth Administration came to a end.
