Their Invasion
The Nutrias invasion began in 1940. The people of South America were selling the Nutrias fur in North America. Sadly their market collapsed and thousands of the Nutrias were released to the world. They are now in a state where they are dangerous to the environment.

The Impact
The Nutrias are destroying the land by digging up the marshes and messing up the wetlands. Lots of people are now setting traps to capture the Nutrias to get them out of the water and to stop them from destroying the wetlands.
