ST. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA

  • Ignatius fought in war and wanted a life of fame and power.
  • He realized that studying books and the Saints were more important to him.
  • He convinced many others to give themselves up to something too.

SAINT PETER FABER

  • St. Peter Faber grew up as a poor peasant with little education.
  • Faber went to Paris and attended Sainte-Barbe college.
  • He was a good friend of St. Francis Xavier.

ST. FRANCIS XAVIER

  • Xavier was a companion of Ignatius as a co-founder of the society of Jesus.
  • He was a lifelong missionary.
  • He had led an extensive mission into Asia.
