DRAKE KOENEMAN

ST.IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA

  • St.Ignatius was the youngest of 13 children and his mother died when he was 7.
  • St. Ignatius was struck with a cannonball in his legs this event made him grow into the faith.
  • St. Ignatius started the Society of Jesus. The followers were called Jesuits as a insult, but the name stuck.

ST.PETER FABER

  • St. Peter Faber was a co-founder of the Society of Jesus
  • St. Peter Faber came from a very poor family
  • St. Peter Faber was declared blessed in 1872, but his canonization was in 2013.

  • St.Peter Claver baptized more than 300,000 slaves
