- As a child he taught young children about Catholicism
- When he got older we went to college in Paris, he became ordained
- The pope sent him to many interesting places to spread God's Word

JEAN-JOSEPH-MARIE AMIOT
- He entered the Society of Jesus in 1737
- In 1750, he was sent to China as a missionary
- In China, he helped with Jesuit projects and gained the trust of Emperor Qianlong

- He became a Jesuit priest and was a dean at Marquette University
- He became an ordained bishop in 1924, in Belize
