  • Has a ruff rocky terrain.
  • The land is not ideal for farming.

South Geography

  • The South has a hot summers and mild winters
  • They have a high rainfall.
  • The land is ideal for farming.

Norths Transportation

  • Canals were built in the city.
  • 88,000 miles of road were built
  • 30,000 miles of railroads were placed

  • 10,000 miles of railroads were placed
  • Steamships were used to transport people and goods
  • 3,000 canals were placed

North's Culture

  • People live in cities and towns.
  • Children had a public education.
  • They manufactured good and sold them.
