  • English and Spanish are the major languages in the US.

GOVERNMENT

  • US has a democratic government.
  • We enjoy the first and second amendments.

RELIGIONS/ BELIEF SYSTEM

  • They believe in one God.
  • The main religion in the US is Christianity.

URBAN/ RURAL

  • 70% of country lives in the city.
  • 30% lives in the country.
  • We live in homes and apartments.

FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS

  • Family's aren't small nor large.
  • Average 3 to 4 kids per household.
  • Most families live with mom, dad, and their kids.

SOCIAL STRUCTURE

  • Lower, middle, and upper classes are in the US.
  • Wealth is more spread out but in big cities it is concentrated.

FASHION, LITERATURE, ARTS, AND MUSIC

  • In the US we enjoy music of all sorts.
  • Fashion is also important in the US.
  • The important artists are: Beatles, Elvis, Micheal Jackson, Big Time Rush

LAND USE

  • We buy large areas of land and build stuff on it.
  • Lower class use land for farming.
  • Middle class uses it for live stock and manufacturing.
  • Upper class uses for their own living area.

TRADING NETWORKS

  • We get food and natural resources from other countries.
  • We get mostly natural resources.

DIVERSITY

  • Main minority group in the area is African American.
  • Second most is Hispanic.
  • Third most is Indian.
  • Men and women are treated equally they both have different jobs though.
