COMMENSALISM

  • an association between two organisms in which one benefits and the other derives neither benefit nor harm.

MUTUALISM

  • symbiosis that is beneficial to both organisms involved.

PARASITISM

  • a non-mutual symbiotic relationship between species, where one species, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the other, the host.

DARWIN'S FINCHES

  • Darwin's finches are a group of about fifteen species of passerine birds.
  • They often are classified as the subfamily Geospizinae or tribe Geospizini.
  • It is not clear what bird family they belong to
  • They are not realted to the true finches.
