Climate/weather
There are 3 temperature zones in Nicaragua. There are 2 seasons called the dry season and the wet season.

The two blue bands symbolize the two oceans that border Nicaragua. The coat of arms triangle represents equality. The rainbow symbolizes peace. The cap symbolizes freedom. The 5 volcanoes represent the fraternity between the 5 Central American countries.

Education.
The school year runs from February to November.

Food.
Examples of Nicaraguan food include sopa de mondongo which is a soup. Also there is Chicha-de maiz which is a drink.

Holidays/Celebrations.
Nicaraguan holidays include March Equinox, Holy Saturday, June Solstice, the Sandinista Revolution day, and Santo Dominigo. Mandy Thursday celebrates the last supper.
