Newton's Second
Law of Motion

NEWTON'S FORMULA
Force =Mass times Acceleration OR f=ma

Acceleration is a measure of the change in velocity of a moving object. Acceleration occurs when an object is acted upon by an unbalanced force.

Acceleration is directly proportional to force. i.e. double the force causes double the acceleration. Acceleration is inversely proportional to mass. i.e. double the mass causes half the acceleration.
