NEWTON'S LAWS OF MOTION

NEWTONS FIRST LAW OF MOTION

  • An object with no force added
  • tends to stay still but when force is
  • added it tends to stay in motion
  • Ex: think of a car when your foot is on the
  • Brake it stays still but when you your foot on the gas it moves

NEWTONS SECOND LAW OF MOTION

  • The acceleration of an object is
  • Dependent upon the net force acting
  • Upon the object and the mass of the object.
  • Ex: think of hitting a baseball then hitting a bowling ball
  • The baseball goes futher

  • III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
  • Ex: If you skate one leg is on the skate and one pushing off
  • The ground your using newtons 3 law
