NEWTON'S FIRST LAW OF MOTION
With no net force acting upon it, an object at rest tends to stay at rest, and an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
Both objects will continue at the same inertia, keeping the same velocity.
For example, a statue will stay at rest unless a unbalanced force pushes it.

NEWTON'S SECOND LAW OF MOTION
The acceleration of an object is dependent upon the net force acting upon the object and the mass of the object.
For example, a cart with more mass inside will travel with a different distance and speed when pushed with the same force.
