PRESENTATION OUTLINE

NEWTONS FIRST LAW

An object at rest tends to stay at rest and and object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted on by an outside force

Untitled Slide

A ball is on the road. It's not moving until the wind blows it. Then the only thing to stop it is the friction of the road and the air.

NEWTON'S SECOND LAW

  • Force equals mass times acceleration
  • A football being kicked
  • A bouncy ball being bounced

NEWTON'S THIRD LAW

  • For every action there is an equal and oposite reactions
  • If you're on rollerblades and you push yourself off a wall
  • Rockets on a spaceship pushing it up
