On February5,2006 the Steelers won super bowl XL. They won against the Seahawks 21-10. They played at Ford field Detroit, Michigan.

Explosion of rocks traps 13 miners in West Virginia cave. The group inside quickly found the air contaminated with carbon monoxide. Out of all the 13 people only one survived
The first cars movie came out
The first car movie came out introducing lighting McQueen as the main character. Cars mad 1.7 billon dollars when it came out . They had a 75% on rotten tomatoes.
The Audi R8 was invented
The Audi R8 was made. The Audi R8 can go up to 207 miles per hour. The car can go 60 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds.
A new species was found “Mus cypriacus”
A new species of mouse was found. The mouse was discovered in England. The mouse can jump a vertical height of 30 centimeters.
Affect of news
The super bowl made many Steelers fans happy and many Seahawks fans sad. The sago mine disaster made everyone sad but glad as they made it out safe. The first cars movie came out and made a lot of little kids fall in love with the movies. The new Audi R8 was made and many car collectors were happy to get it. A new mouse species was found and many people were surprised to have a new species of mice.
My opinion on my events are sad but good. I’m sad that people got trapped in a mine, and happy because the Cars movie came out and I have watched everyone sence.
