The mayflower was blown off course and ended up in cape cod in New England and the best part is no English explorer had found it yet so they had it to themselves for laws but later they joined with massetusitts

CATTLE

  • Provided food
  • Provided bondage wool and other survival purposes
  • People used there "waste" and dead fish to help fertilize the ground
  • Cows were used for milk and beef

Pirating became a big role for America they tried to sell goods to other country's which gave us more money to sustain our country eventually England heard about this and were angry but we sent a charter that allowed us to do it

THE SOUTHERN COLOUNIES

WAS THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL SOUTHERN COLOUNY

  • It's main focus was cash crops
  • Settlers came here for economic development that old England didn't have

But there were some very minor setbacks such as yellow fever which kept the population about the same

The final COLOUNY was Georgia challenges from Spain and France led the king to desire a buffer zone between cash crops and foreign enemy's
