In 1634, Anne and her family moved into the Massachusetts Bay Colony. They left England following a minister who was forced to leave England due to them finding out his Puritan teachings.

Some of the things Anne did

  • She began to hold weekly prayer meetings in her home for women
  • She began speaking out against the leaders
  • She was told to deny her beliefs and refused. She was banished.
  • 1643 she was killed by indians because she was trying to take land from them.
