• Year 3 / 4  : Early ancient civilisation
• Year 5 / 6 : Ancient Greece and Non-European

Geography

FActual Content - Key Stage 1

• Year 1 - UK facts, names, capitals
• Year 2 - World Continents and Oceans / One non-European
• Huge increase on field work (trip?) 
• Big vocabulary push (we're good at this anyway!!)
• Lots of different images  / maps and symbols 

Factual Content - Key Stage 2

• Europe and Americas - countries / capitals
• Comparison of region of the UK (Lake District anyone?) 
• Understanding of climate / rivers / mountains etc
• Fieldwork still a huge learning point
• End of Key Stage 2  - Grid references / Land Use

Maths

Key headlines

• Yearly Objectives (assessment?)
• Larger numbers - earlier
• Tables - 12 x 12 by end of Yr 4
• Earlier use of standards units of measurement
• Focus on Fractions - (Yr 1  1/2 and 1/4)
