People in the Netherlands are the tallest in the world. The average height for men is 184 cm and for women it is 170.

Amsterdam was built on stilts,(entire city of was built on piles)the massive stakes that are driven into the ground. These piles laid the foundation for every building in the city. This means that if you stay at one of the many Amsterdam hotels, you are actually staying on stilts.
There are over 1 million bicycles in Amsterdam, and only 700,000 locals.
There are over 50 museums in Amsterdam and 1250 museums in all of Netherlands .
