Urban la Verrier, Johann Gotfried Galle,Henrich D'Arrest,and John Couch Adams discovered Neptune.
Neptune is the 8th planet orbiting the sun.
Neptune is 2,800,044,000 miles away from the sun.
Neptune takes 16.11 Earth hours to rotate.
Neptune's diameter is 30,775 miles wide.
Neptune is the 4th largest planet in our Solar System.
Neptune takes 164.8 years to orbit the Sun.
The temperature range on Neptune is -120 degrees Fahrenheit to -353 degrees Fahrenheit.
Neptune is a gas planet. It receives it's deep blue color from methane present in the planet
Neptune has 13 moons.They are Triton,Nereid,Naiad
Larissa,Proteus,Galatea,
Thalassa,Desphina,Hali-
mede,Neso,Psalmathe,Sao,and Laomedeida.They were all discovered in 1989.

5.Instead of valcanoes shooting out lava, they shoot out ice on Neptune.
