Nikolai frelilintini was a chemical engineer, working at UCLA. One day, he made a miraculous discovery. He discovered a neodymium-based compound, which, when applied to a rare earth magnet, eliminated the magnetic polarization on one side.

This made them like building blocks, while being able to sustain structure. Otherwise, a magnet polarized on all sides would collapse and connect all sides together, leaving no space inside. He began building a suit that people could use to help people in car crashes, and accidents, by bringing them to a hospital in their car. It could also be used as a military mech.

This idea was rejected, and he lost his research grant. Enraged, he built the neodymium suit with the last of his grant money. On that day, he decided that no one cared about him, so no one would be disappointed with his work. He always wanted to rule the world, and since no one could tell him to stop, he went to fulfill his dream.

He rampaged through Los Angeles, attracting any and all metals, wreaking havoc externally and internally. Everything the suit magnetized and attracted made the suit larger. By the time the government was alerted, the suit was 8 stories tall. When they found him, the suit looked like a mass of metal, so they all thought it was an alien, and asked what it was. Nikolai replied “ I am Neodymius, the rare earth attractor!”

From that day forward, there no longer was a Nikolai frelilintini, only the villain mastermind, Neodymius.

Rare earth magnets are composed of NdFeB AKA, neodymium, iron, and boron. Because boron is in the suit, and how boron affects testosterone levels, he would be a bit more hormonal.

WEAKNESS:

hydrochloric acid, because it would cause the iron in the neodymium magnets to corrode, crushing the suit, explain
