Nebraskan climate is warm in the summers and cold in the winters. The average summer temperature is 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The record of 118 degrees occurred on July 15' 1934. The record low was -47 in 1899. The average winter temperature was 14 degrees Fahrenheit Nebraska weather Canberra destructive. The re of the tornadoes. state gets lose to 50 tornadoes each year. Nebraska also gets winter blizzards, hail storms and dust storms. Droughts also can be bad for farmers because they can't grow their crops. If you ever visit Nebraska beware of tornadoes.

Geography

Nebraska's geography include sand hills, the Great Plains,grass and high elevation. The Badlands in the northwest corner has dry twisted canyons. The Great Plains is an area of good farmland created by glaciers. The Plateaus reach 5,426 feet above sea level. Nebraska is 77,355 square miles making it the fifteenth largest state. The Badlands are in the northwest corner.
