  • The Navajo is the biggest tribe in North America; it surpasses 200,000 is population
  • Their original location extends to the four corners of Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico, and they still live now.

  • They didn't have horses at first, so they used dogs to pull them on sleds
  • They would live in summer houses, or winter houses depending on the wether

  • They made wool blankets, yet only the wealthy leaders could afford them.
  • The males wore breech cloths and the women wore skirts before the colonist

  • The raised sheep, and grow corn, beans, and squash.
  • The males would hunt deer for meat and the females would cook the meat and the food they grow.

  • Children often went out and collected some small jewelry in order to make some accessorize.

  • One of their ceremonies is called the Blessing Way that keeps them on the path of wisdom and happiness.
  • The second ceremony is called the Enemy Way because it's how they discourage evil spirts and eliminate ghosts.
