  • Triggerfish with powerful teeth crack the nautilus' shell
  • Other cephalopods attack them by drilling in their shells and poisoning the them with venom

  • Nautiluses have more tentacles than other cephalopods (about 90)
  • Their tentacles differ from other cephalopods for they lack pads
