The Nanking Massacre started December 13th, 1937
The Chinese removed all troops from Nanking
The Chinese left the civilians to defend themselves
The Chinese forbid evacuating
The war lasted 6 weeks

The Japanese denied all they did
They claimed they never hurt civilians or raped women
They claimed they never let their own civilians know what truly happened
They claimed they didn't brutally kill people
