ABOUT STYX:

  • Represents the River Styx (the gateway to hades)
  • TITANESS of the River Styx
  • Related to Pallas, Zeles, Nike, kratos, and bia.
  • Really dark and depressing
  • Daughter to Oceanus and Tethys

Biography
Styx is a TITANESS representing the river that leads to hades. She is a very dark deity and has a depressing atmosphere. She is related to Paula’s, Zeles, Nike, kratos, and bia.

Mythology
In the times of Ancient Greece, there was a Great War between the titans and the gods who ruled over them, in the end there was a great battle and the gods of course won in the end. Styx aided the gods in this battle and as a reward, Zeus gave her name to the binding oath taken by the gods.

MANAWYDDAN

  • Represents the English Channel and the Barents Sea
  • Son of llyr, half brother of finola, Aed, and conn.
  • Looks like a winterized Poseidon (think aquaman)
  • Associated with water

Biography
And is Manawyddan is the Irish god of the sea

BABA-YAGA

  • Represents death and regeneration
  • Related to kosche, her son
  • Looks like a very unfriendly babushka.
  • Represented by mushrooms, and a mortar and pestle.
  • The only way to defeat her is to be invited to dinner and not let her eat you, then she will offer advice over dessert.
  • Baba-Yaga translates to “boogeyman” in old Russian.

LOKI

  • Norse god of tricksters
  • Represented by pranks
  • He killed everyone during ragnarock including Odin, Thor, and many others.
  • Was very evil and slimy
  • Son of farbauti and laufey
  • Represented by a knot on a thread
