- one caused the virus to begin a denial OS
-The other commanded the virus to stop acting
It worked as an on-off switch
The reason why it worked so quickly is because it spread through e-mails. (1 out of every 14 was infected).
It was so powerful that even when it was removed, the background of the OS sitll worked
