  • Ghana is a small country surbeb on the west coast of Afrika.
  • Ghanaians precisly has some beautiful rich cultures and heritage.
  • The culture of encompasess the development of music and cuisine of real Ghanian people.
  • Ghanains have 6 types of ethnic groups in thier country.
  • The Ashanti, fantis, Ewes, Guamar, Ga- adanbge, Guan.
Presentation on Ghana.
Ghana is a small country surbeb on the westt coast of Afrika. The other country beside Ghana is Togo.

1.Cultures and heritage.
Ghana has sex type of ethnic groups in thier country. The Ashanti, Ewes, Guarma, Guans and Fanti.

2. Food and Economical Status.
Ghana has many types of foods and great in the International market. They have yam, plantian, rice, fish, ect.

3.nature and wild life Tourist.
Ghana has one of the mist beautiful tourist attractionn in thier country. Nature is important to Ghana and strive to protect heritage withen the citizen of the country.

4. Art and CRAFT.
Ghanaians are very known in the world of thier lovely making of art and CRAFT in thier country.
You mostly find these art and CRAFT been made by the people of Ghana in the city and also part of the Northern part of Ghana. Thier
known in kente weaving and so on ect.

5. Festivals in Ghanain culture.
Ghana is a country that celebrastes festivals and there are ritual and rites that they perform during the Grand festival.
They cover the right passage Chile-birth, marriage, Death.

6. SPORTS in Ghana.
Ghana is known as one of the mostt stronger nation on sports. Mostly is footballl boxing, athletic. They recently took part in the world cup that was Held in Brazil.

7. Current head of State.
Ghana Current president is called John dramani Mahama, he was the vice president of former head of State whom died last year.

8. Currency and Valuta in Ghana.
Ghana normaly has only one currencyy they use. That is called the Cedis. Everyy tourist who visit the country try to use that currency to shop or but food studs. Foreingnerr currency are also accepted.

FOOD AND ECONOMICAL

  • Ghanains have many types of local foods and thier economical status is great in the international market.
  • Soups are primary component in ghanain food and culture. They are eaten with
  • Fufu, plantain, yam, rice, pounded yam, cocao yam and other culture dishes.

NATURE WILD LIFE AND TOURIST

  • Nature wild life and tourist attraction in ghana is one of the most beautiful sites in Africa.
  • Nature is important to Ghana and a conservation program strives to protect this heritage, to enable us enjoy it with our visitors and to pass it on to future
  • Ghana has a rich natural treasure made up of 16 National Parks, Resource Reserves and Wildlife Sanctuaries, which are open throughout the year.
  • From the savannah of the coastal plains, the dense tropical forest and the grassland of the north to the life giving water bodies, which criss-cross the country, distinct wildlife abound.

ART AND CRAFT

  • The Ashanti are noted for their expertise in a variety of specialized crafts. These include weaving, wood carving, ceramics, and metallurgy. Of these crafts, only pottery-making is primarily a female activity; the others are restricted to male specialists
  • Weaving is a highly developed craft, with dozens of standardized and named textile designs. Stamped cloth is also made.
  • Kente Cloth. Kente cloth is only worn in the southern half of the country and - as distinct from other forms of traditional weaving - is reserved mainly for joyous occasions
  • Traditionally the Kente cloth is a festival cloth worn mainly during the annual and seasonal festivals, which are happy occasions. Today they are not only used for festive occasions but also during the rituals associated with the important events of life; for example, marriage, death, and religious worship.

FESTIVALS IN GHANAIN CULTUTRE.

  • Ghana is a country that celebrates festivals. There are several rites and rituals that are performed throughout the year in various parts of the country.
  • They cover the right of passage child-birth, puberty, marriage and death. To the majority of people, these celebrations provide all that is satisfying to their communities and families.
  • Many festivals include thrilling durbars of chiefs, when tribal leaders and Queen Mothers process in decorated palanquins, shaded by the traditional umbrellas, and supported by drummers and warriors discharging ancient muskets.
  • Panafest.This festival is held very summer. It is celebrates Ghanian roots. People from other African countries as well as the African-Americans with roots in Ghana visit the country and celebrate their heritage. .

SPORTS IN GHANA.

  • Ghana has one of the most stronger and great sports history in the world and in africa as a whole.
  • While men's football is most widely followed sport in Ghana, the national women's football team is gaining exposure, participating in the FIFA Women's World Cup and the CAF Women's Championship. .
  • The Ghana women's national football team is known as the Black Queens, while the Ghana national women's under-20 football team are the Black Princesses.
  • There are several club football teams in Ghana, which play in the Ghana Premier League and Division One league, both managed by the Ghana Football Association.
  • Notable among these are Accra Hearts of Oak SC and Asante Kotoko, which play at the premier league level and are the dominant contenders in the tournament.

CURRENCY IN GHANA.

  • Ghana has its own currency they use in thier country.
  • The valuta currency is called Cedis.
  • To buy something in ghana is not that expensive.
  • Most tourist normally use tye local currency to buy foods and art craft.
  • All currency from all over the world is accepted in Gahana.

CURRENT HEAD OF STATE.

  • The current president of the ghana is John Dramani Mahama.
  • Ghana has various political parties in the country but the stronger ones are only two.
  • Namely NDC and NPP.
  • National Democratic Congress and New Patrotic Party.
  • Currently is the NDC on power ruling the Nation.
