PRESENTATION OUTLINE
When someone says the word art, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Most of you would think of paintbrushes and drawings with pencils and different colors. Well art and comes in many different forms, whether it's drawing, dancing, skating, architecture, photography, crafts, and many more that you'd never even know that they were a type of art! But my passion, which is drawing, is what motivates me to do what I want, which is to go to college and get a future in the architecture business.
When I'm doing any type of art I feel really calm though excited about how it will turn out in the end. I could draw 10 hours straight if I wanted or if I have time and nothing to do, I could do my nails and I won't stop until I get them how I want them to be. I could be so mad one second and the next I'm so calm... That's why I miss seventh grade, because I would always want for 5th period to end (no offense to math and Mrs.Forney) just so I could to art. When I was in there everything was always quiet, with the music playing in the background. Everyone would always complain about the assignments and projects we were doing, but if your going to be in art you going to have to know that patience is very important!
Art isn't just for you to draw, it's for you to speak your mind on a piece of paper. It's like drawing your feelings and inner emotions, along with imagination instead of writing. It's like letting go from reality and staying in your own world of tranquility, enjoying the time you have to draw what ever you want.
WOULD YOU BELIEVE ME IF I TOLD YOU THIS IS A REAL PERSON?
If someone put a blank canvas up in an art gallery what would you think?
What I would think is, that, yes I might be just a canvas, but to it means that it is undiscovered beauty, if you understand me...
GETTING INVOLVED
- Covering up graffiti with a mural
- Ask your friends what type of art they like
- Help frustrated people if they need help
Art is simple, yet complicated. You can take days, or you can take hours, but as long as you enjoy it than keep doing it!
