In 1992 Bear Grylls parachuted in Africa. It was remarkable that he fought back from a broken back at the young age of 22 not knowing he would go on to climb mount everest,become head scout,join the SAS and raise a family.


HOW HE BROKE HIS BACK: Bear was jumping out of an aeroplane at 16,000 ft with his friends. One by one they were jumping out and finally it was Bear's turn. At 3,000 ft it was time to pull the cord of the parachute.When the parachute opened Bear looked up and realised his parachute was tangled, he started to descend to the ground he was coming in with alot of speed!!!
