Cancer fighting web development

Lead web application developer : the Louis Warschaw prostate cancer center @ Cedars-Sinai Medical center
This one reaches a bit further back than a deck-ade. (Notice how the diagram subtlety indicates time's boundaries.)

Lead Web Application Developer : 2002 - 2005
Student Research Fellow : Summer 2001
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center

While working towards my Computer Science BA in 2002, then continuing after its completion, I designed and built data-driven web applications as part of the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center's cross-functional clinical research team.

I was fortunate to speak at the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) Annual Conference in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, back in September 2004.

Regional sales manager with a dash of developer

Key accounts includeD : amazon.com, dillard's, JCPenney, and sears
Here are some résumé-style highlights from my time at Arrowood Corporation.

Regional Sales Manager : 2005 - 2009
Contract Web Designer / Developer : 2006 - 2007

• Increased annual sales for the region to $4.4M in 2007 from $190K in 2004.

• Negotiated three manufacturers' representative contracts and one e-commerce web development contract (btw, I did the development too), with total realized revenue exceeding $400K.

• Planned regional marketing strategy with executive management from each of six global home textile manufacturers in China, India, and the United States, coordinating targeted product development and placement for key accounts including: Amazon.com, Dillard’s, JCPenney, and Sears.

Web Application Developer : 2000 - 2002

• Eliminated 40 hours per week of report preparation by developing web applications that conduct point of sale analysis and generate inventory forecast models for each account per manufacturer represented by the company.

A business trip to India revealed a new path

During my time at Arrowood Corporation, I was fortunate to travel to India to visit one of the manufacturers I represented.

My experiences in India led me to question the value of my contributions to both the local and global communities.
