A day after he was born, (December 17, 1770) he was baptized he also had siblings Kaspar Anton Karl Van Beethoven, Nikolaus Johann Van Beethoven, Franz Georg Van Beethoven, Johann Peter Anton Leym, Anna Maria Francisca Van Beethoven, Ludwig Maria Van Beethoven, and Maria Margarita Van Beethoven. He also of course had two parents his dad Johann Van Beethoven, and his mom Maria Magdalena Van Beethoven.
Next as far as I know he never went to school. He spent most of his adult life in Vienna. Beethoven mostly played in the Romantic and Classical eras of music.
Ludwig Van Beethoven was known for being a pianist and a composer. Kapellmeister, his grandfather, was most likely the reason that Beethoven liked music so much since he looked up to kapellmeister.
The reason he started learning and his teacher, is his father. His father locked him in the attic for practice and soon became sleep deprived. He soon became good at sonata, symphony, concerto and quartets.
Another thing most of you might know is Beethoven was deaf. He didn't have that shared because who'd buy music from a deaf man? He wrote his ninth symphony completely deaf. Also he cut off the legs to his piano so he didn't get to listen to the music. Because of this lack of hearing he played his piano so roughly that people thought that he was mad. Next the same people thought he may have had dyslexia. Next when the Holy Roman's Emperor died Beethoven was given the honor of composing a musical memorial in his entitled, Canata on the seat of Emperor Joseph II.Finally Beethoven dedicated his third symphony to Napoleon Bonaparte.
For my favorite song I chose Für Elise. I chose this song because it is one of my favorites by Beethoven. It is a song literally meaning for Elise. It is believed that the published form was not the same as the original. It was supposedly dated April 27, 1810. It also has a theory around it about the notes spelling E-(L)-(I)-S-E for Elise. Finally Therese Malfatti is the supposed dedicatee of the song. Most of the time in the song it is piano.
