• There are an estimated 7500 mursi people left
• The population has been almost cut in half in the last 15 years
• They are killed by famine disease and lack of water

• When you reach a higher age you get a ring lip
• A ring lip stands for honor and only males get them
• They have the largest lip rings of any african tribe

LADIES ARE SECOND

• Ladies are treated badly
• They only cook and clean
• They are traded for food
