Body is taken to a tent called, "ibu" or "place of purification
The body is washed with water
Than, the organs are removed
The organs are packed up to dry
The heart is NEVER taken out

The embalmers would put there insides in Canopic Jars.
The embalmers would drain out all of the fluids out of the body. It was called shrinking the body.
Oils were used to make the dead body smell good.
Linen was used to wrap the body.
The embalermers would tie the arms together and the legs together.

The embalmers would place an amulet to protect the body.
They would take a hook there the nose to take out the brain.
The priest would read spells during the process
Decorating the mummy was important to the religion.

The pyramids were dedicated to certain pharoahs
There were things in the pyramid meant to help them in the afterlife
There would be traps so the mummy wouldn't be hurt
There would be hieroglyphics explaining the pharaohs life
There was a kings chamber and queens chamber
