THE ARMOURY

Despite its name, it's not really an armory: it's a museum of national treasures. Some of the items were made in the Kremlin’s workshops, others were accepted as ambassadorial gifts. The Chamber preserves ancient state regalia, ceremonial tsar’s vestments and coronation dress, vestments of the Russian Orthodox Church’s hierarchs, the largest collection of gold and silverware by Russian craftsmen, West European artistic silver, ceremonial weapons and arms, carriages, and horse ceremonial harness.

  • Thanks to the food it is the best cafe in Moscow.
  • The have a excellent vodka selection.
  • The cafe is made to look like a 19 century aristocrats house.
  • People come from all over to eat here.
