And roads

FAMOUS ROMAN CREATIONS

  • They built aqueducts to help give their cities running water.
  • They created temples to honor and worship their Gods.
  • They made roads so that their military,and eventually anyone,can travel long distances easily

MEDIEVAL EUROPE

AND THEIR "NEW" STRUCTURES

Castles
Churches
And moats

FAMOUS EUROPEAN CREATIONS

  • They built castles to protect themselves from invaders
  • They built churches because they feared and worshiped their God.
  • They built moats to protect themselves from invaders

THE MOST MEMORABLE ROMAN STRUCTURE WAS THE AQUEDUCTS

  • The aqueducts were used to transport water anywhere in in roman cities
  • The first aqueduct was built in the 7th century BCE
  • It was built with stone,brick, or concrete and integrated gravity to help.

THE MOST MEMORABLE EUROPEAN STRUCTURE IS THE CHURCH

  • The church was built to worship God.
  • The first major church was built in the 5th century CE
  • Church's were built with the finest,and most expensive materials of the time.
