Hello, I am Albert, and in this day I will present a presentation about someone who was very special.

WHO IS MONTSERRAT CABALLÉ?

• Montserrat Caballé was a Spanish opera singer which was incredibly famous because she had one of the best lyric soprano tesstitures.
• She was adored because of her precious vocal technique and her interpretations in the belcantist repertoire.

CURIOSITY FACTS:

• Her whole name was Montserrat Bibiana Concepción Caballé Folch.
• She was born in 1933, (the 12th April) she was destitute with her family.
• She died in 2018, (the 6th October) when she had 85 years.
• Her first national success was in 1965.

• Her daughter also is a opera singer and is not bad at all.

HER DEATH:

• She died because of an infectious disease.
• The funeral was done in the place her parents had their funeral (Tanatorio de Les Corts de Barcelona)because she wanted to lie with them.
• Montserrat Caballé was really amazing, we will all remember her.

SHOWS:

• Her shows were international, she went through all around the world, but the vast majority of her songs were in Spanish, but she also sang a lot in English, Italian, French and even a tiny amount in Japanese.
