• An individual's unique approach to learning based on strengths, weaknesses and preferences
• There are seven major learning styles: visual, aural, verbal, physical, logical, social, solitary
• Different learning styles lead to different ways to learn
• Every child is learning differently

Student achievements

• Students guided by teachers knowledgeable of their learning styles are successful in problem solving and learning effectively
• They become more creative and motivated to inquire

The teacher should reflect on

• Everyone is unique
• How my students learn best
• Developing a deep understanding of their preferences
• Using different learning strategies and methods to help students being successful
• Did I do my best for my students
